Wrigley Neighborhood of Long Beach California
Thank you for visiting Southern Shores Real Estate website and we hope you enjoy the information abut Long Beach, second largest city in Los Angeles County and its many neighborhoods.

Nestled to the west of downtown Long Beach and just east of the Los Angeles riverbed is the community of Wrigley, named after the founder of Wrigley chewing gum. The neighborhood runs north of Pacific Coast Highway to just south of Virginia Country Club in Long Beach.
Many of the homes in the Wrigley area were built in the 1920s, 1930s and 1940s. Spanish architecture is seen through out the neighborhood, with many 1940s style World War II construction homes. The east side of Wrigley has numerous residential income properties, with most of the residential homes being on the west side. Every year, the Wrigley area has a very successful Christmas parade which marches down Daisy St., makes a U-turn, and comes back around. The whole community turns out with lots of people coming in from all over to watch this festive event. Many artists call this part of town home because of the unique architecture and flavor of this part of Long Beach. Homes in Wrigley range in price form the $300,000s to over $600,000, depending on the square footage and upgrades. The ocean breeze is often felt in the Wrigley area, as it blows in from the Los Angeles riverbed.
