Carson Park Neighborhood of Long Beach California
Thank you for visiting Southern Shores Web Site and we hope you enjoy the information on Long Beach, second largest city in Los Angeles County, and its many neighborhoods.

East Long Beach is comprised of several neighborhoods, one of them being the area of CARSON PARK. This charming neighborhood is bordered by Carson St. to the north, Wardlow St. to the south, Woodruff St. to the west, and Stevely St. to the west.
Carson Park is a quiet, residential neighborhood comprised of single family homes. The north side of the neighborhood is occupied by Cecil B. DeMille Middle School. Because the area is nestled next to the riverbed and a nursery, it is very peaceful with little traffic on the streets. The streets themselves are wide and bordered by tall, shady, mature trees. Right next to Carson Park is the ever popular Heartwell Park Golf Course.

Homes in this neighborhood average in price in the $500,000s for approximately 1500 square feet. Lot sizes average around 5500 square feet. Built in the early 1950s, these homes were built with solid construction. Many of the homes have been added on to and remodeled over the years, yet you can still see the original exterior style. A definite plus is the two car garage. Many families live in this area because of the excellent Long Beach schools that are here and the true pride of home ownership that is so prevalent.
